Daniel Martinez, Food & Beverage Photographer
Beyond the Portfolio My portfolio matters, but it isn’t the real difference. What separates me from most photographers is that I don’t operate like a freelancer — I operate like a brand. My name is attached to every project, and my reputation depends on every client I work with. Because of that, I approach every shoot with responsibility, preparation, and intention.
I don’t just show up with a camera and ask what you want to do. I help you figure it out. Many restaurant owners know they need content, but they don’t always know what kind of content actually brings customers in. I guide the process from planning, to shooting, to delivery, making sure what we create is not only beautiful but useful for marketing, ads, menus, and social media.
You won’t be left guessing how to use your photos. You won’t be waiting weeks wondering where your files are. And you won’t get generic images that look like everyone else. I care about consistency, communication, and reliability just as much as the visuals. When a client hires me, they know the job will be handled professionally, delivered on time, and done right the first time. I’m not just documenting your food — I’m helping you present your business to the world the way it deserves to be seen.

The Mission
Treating your business
Like my own.
My mission is simple: treat every client’s business like it’s my own.
I don’t show up just to take photos. I show up to understand what you built, why you built it, and who you’re trying to reach. Every restaurant, brand, and owner has a vision in their head — my job is to help bring that vision to life in a way customers can immediately feel.
I guide my clients through the process, help with ideas, styling, and direction, and make sure they walk away not just with images, but with real marketing tools they can actually use. I believe creative work should never feel confusing or intimidating, and you should never feel like you’re figuring it out alone.
When we work together, you’re not hiring a photographer. You’re gaining a creative partner who cares about your growth as much as you do.

The Vision
Authentic stories
That connect.
My vision is to help businesses tell honest stories that people connect with.
In a world where everyone is posting content every day, attention is earned through authenticity. I want every brand I work with to stand out not because it’s trendy, but because it feels real, intentional, and memorable.
I aim to build long-term relationships with my clients — growing with them as they expand, launch new ideas, and reach new audiences. The goal isn’t just beautiful images. The goal is impact: more customers walking through your door, more recognition for your work, and a brand presence you’re proud of.
Great food is made with care. Your visuals should be too.

Photography questions, answered
foodstudi0 is Daniel Martinez's food and beverage photography website. Based in Atlanta, Daniel photographs restaurant menus, interiors, chef and staff portraits, and advertising imagery. The service offering also includes culinary video and social media content.
Yes. Art direction and food styling are part of the service offering, including moodboards and prop selection. Discuss the dishes, products, visual references, and intended uses during planning so the creative brief describes the work you need.
On-site photography is available at restaurants and other agreed locations. Share the location, available space, kitchen schedule, and access requirements when discussing the shoot. The location and production arrangements are confirmed as part of the project brief.
First drafts are typically delivered within 5 to 7 business days after the shoot. This is a first-draft timeframe, not a promise of final delivery. Confirm the editing schedule and any campaign deadline for your project during planning.
The final images are supplied with a commercial usage license tailored to the agreed channels, such as social media, web, print, or advertising. Copyright and original RAW files remain with the studio. Confirm the permitted uses in your project agreement before publishing or distributing the images.
Start with a project inquiry. Share what needs to be photographed, where the images will be used, the location, and your preferred timing. The discovery conversation defines the brief; once the brief and deposit are agreed, planning moves into pre-production.
"We don't chase trends; we set the aesthetic standard. Because in a world of 15-second clips, true quality is the only thing that remains."
